The 2009 Ivey BC Entrepreneurship Forum

- November 16, 2009 – SOLD OUT!
The first Ivey BC Entrepreneurship Forum, held at the Royal Bank Reception Suite in Vancouver’s Royal Centre Tower on November 16th, was a sold-out event featuring presentations by eight up and coming privately held companies seeking new insights and funding.

At the event each company presented its proposition, financing requirements and a key business opportunity/challenge to an expert panel and a diverse audience including potential investors. Each presentation was followed by scrutiny and advice from the experts and an interactive session with audience members.

To be considered for the Forum, each company needed to be in a growth stage, with products or services in the market, have a need for angel or venture financing and a strong management team. The eight presenting companies, shown below, were selected from a total of close to 40 applicants following an intensive screening process in the lead-up to the forum.
