Southern California – Global Ivey Day

November 3 is Global Ivey Day around the world. There are going to be more than 20 cities around the world hosting events to celebrate all that is Ivey.

Here in LA, we’re going to celebrate it “California-style” by chilling out on a very cool rooftop patio overlooking the beach. We’re inviting people to drop by to enjoy some tasty Canadian beer and munchies.  Nothing fancy – just a chance to hang out and (since it’s early in the season) pretend that the Leafs still can make the playoffs. Who knows, we might trade
stories of report weekends – or compare notes on our favorite bar on Richmond Street.  Since so many of us are in finance, we might uncover a deal or two.

Last year, we dressed up for a formal session at the Canadian Consulate. This year, we’re taking it easy.

Date: Thursday November 3rd, 2011

Time: 7:00pm to 10:00pm

Where: 1333 Second Street, Suite 600 Santa Monica
(courtesy of Siemer Associates)

Dress: As casual or dressy as you want

Cost: free. Yes, free.

How to register: Please help us order the right amount of
beer and munchies by registering as follows: http://ivey.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_4TIdjiXfcsmrJ2I
