The Ivey Alumni Network Calgary Chapter is pleased to host a special event in partnership with Harry Rosen.
This event will feature Ian Rosen, HBA '11, VP of Digital & Strategy, and third generation of the Harry Rosen Group. Ian will speak to us on the history of the Harry Rosen company, the intricacies of family business and the evolution of retail strategy in the digital age.
A “Dress for Success” presentation will follow, providing advice on selecting the right work attire for a professional appearance. The presentation will include a section on tips for men and women.
After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to network with fellow Ivey alumni, sample Macallan Whiskey and enjoy light hors d’oeuvres.

About Ian Rosen, HBA '11
Ian Rosen is the VP of Digital & Strategy at Harry Rosen, responsible for extending relationships with customers onto digital channels and enhancing the shopping experience with technology (both online and in-store). He is also responsible for developing corporate strategy to drive future growth.
Ian marks the third generation of Rosen’s to join the company his grandfather, Harry, started with his brother Lou in 1954 on Toronto’s Parliament Street. His father (and CEO) Larry Rosen, is an Ivey MBA ‘82 and currently serves on the Ivey Advisory Board.
Prior to joining Harry Rosen, Ian was a Management Consultant at Bain & Company in Chicago where he focused on Strategy, Retail and Digital projects. Ian holds both an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and an HBA from Ivey Business School.
